Naaz Scheik is Managing Director and CEO of Matrix Systems (Pvt) Ltd. He started his career as a quant analyst at Wellington Management in Boston and left to start SoftPak in 1994. He built the company around a mission to improve financial technology software, making it easier to use and providing analytical tools for portfolio managers. In 1997, he established Matrix Systems in Karachi which continues to operate till today as the off-shore development center for SoftPak. Under his leadership, the company has grown worldwide and has expanded its capabilities from custom software to consultant placement and packaged software products. He holds a Masters in Mathematics and Physics and studied at Tufts University in Massachusetts and the University of Karachi.

Sadaf Mahmood is serving as Senior Development Manager. She is responsible for managing client’s requirement and technology teams to develop the technical vision and roadmaps for assigned product. She uses a customer-centric approach to help identify and deliver effective solutions that solve the problems. She has experience in delivering solutions to multiple clients for various products on various platforms in the areas of Portfolio Optimization and Rebalancing. Sadaf earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Karachi and Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi.

Kazim Rizvi is serving as Senior Development Manager and manages the development of SoftPak’s Portfolio Rebalancing line of products. Working closely with our clients and engineering teams, he ensures delivery of new product features to the market which satisfy our customer’s business needs. Kazim also oversees project management activities and implements project management tools and processes to ensure standardization of PMO best practices. With a background in Software Engineering prior to joining Matrix Kazim has served extensively in project and product management roles across different domains. He has a Master’s degree in Information Systems from Volgenau School of Engineering at George Mason University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi.

Abdul Latif is the Senior Office Manager of Matrix Systems. He maintains oversight on the Administration, HR and Infrastructure functions. From supervising various administrative activities to developing recruitment strategies, implementing systems for managing staff benefits, and overseeing the onboarding of new employees Abdul Latif ensures all operational functions of the office are running smoothly on day-to-day basis. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Sindh University Jamshoro.
