Matrix Systems (Pvt) Ltd is actively seeking qualified and Experienced candidates to join our product teams as Software Development Engineers. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside other seasoned developers on a wide variety of technologies including C++, Java, Angular, Oracle, Postgres, etc. For this position, a good grounding in Java is mandatory with 3 years Experience. Prior experience in any of the other technologies mentioned below would provide a considerable advantage to shortlisted candidates over others.
Responsibilities
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with product experts and senior engineers to understand the product domain and requirements
- Design, develop, implement and test product features to meet assigned requirements
- Write high-performance application code, SQL queries, and stored procedures
REQUIRED:
- Expertise in Java with the ability and confidence to dive into C++ code-base and framework. You should be able to leverage language features effectively.
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design
- Skilled in SQL query writing and database tuning
- Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with technical as well as non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset, an active listener, and a knowledge contributor
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with debugging native applications on Linux and Bash scripting
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience or knowledge of Secure Coding practices
- Comfortable performing branches and merges in SCM tools
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, or any other STEM degree program and prior 03 years experience.
