Sales Development Representative (SDR)

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating and qualifying leads, setting up appointments, and supporting the sales team in driving revenue growth for SaaS-based products. This role involves extensive prospecting, initial outreach, and relationship-building activities to identify potential customers and schedule meetings for the sales team. Experience in the fintech sector is highly valued. 

  • Conduct research to identify potential customers and target accounts within the SaaS and fintech
  • Use various prospecting methods, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking, to generate leads.
  • Engage with prospects through phone calls, emails, and social media to introduce the company’s SaaS products and value proposition.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs, challenges, and fit with the company’s solutions.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained in the CRM system.
  • Work closely with the sales team to align on target accounts, messaging, and follow-up strategies.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing team on the effectiveness of campaigns and messaging based on prospect interactions.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. 
  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales development or lead generation role, preferably within the SaaS or fintech industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully setting up appointments and meeting lead generation targets. 
  • Strong understanding of SaaS products and the fintech industry is highly desirable. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Resilient and persistent with the ability to handle rejection and continue to make efforts.
